However, with the new regulation, it also becomes an indispensable requirement for the valuation of a property for mortgage purposes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the energy certificate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>energy efficiency certificate<\/strong> is an official document that states:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The energy consumption of a dwelling under normal conditions.<\/li>\n<li>The level of efficiency, on a scale of the <strong>A to G<\/strong> (A = most efficient, G = least efficient).<\/li>\n<li>Recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Until this year, only architects and engineers could issue certificates.
